Ms. Maddie

VPK Teacher

I'm so happy to be a part

of the SHLS family!

I grew up in New Jersey, and moved to florida 6 years ago with my sister. I have my associates degree in early childhood education, and am currently working toward my bachelors. I have worked with children for many years, and truly have a passion for childcare.

When not at school, I love hot yoga and long walks by the water.

Hey there, I am Sierra, but I the kiddos call me Rosie! My journey here at Safety Harbor Little School is so fulfilling in ways I couldn't even imagine. I have lived in here in Safety Harbor my entire life, and love everything this town has to offer.

I graduated from the University of South Florida with a bachelors degree in psychology.

I am an animal lover, so when I am not in school you will probably see me out and about in town walking my dogs!

Ms. Sam

VPK Teacher

I’m so excited to be teaching VPK at Safety Harbor Little School. With a background in Child Development, I love creating a classroom environment that balances strong VPK programming with child-led play. I enjoy incorporating fun, hands-on activities and creative themes that keep learning exciting and meaningful for every child. My son, Quinn is also a student at SHLS and he has a new baby sister, Tatum at home.

In my free time, I love trying new restaurants and spending quality time with my family. I’m looking forward to another joyful year of learning, playing, and growing together!

Ms. Deion

2's Teacher

Deion Collins here! I was born and raised right here in sunny Pinellas County, Florida, and I’ve been working in child care for the past 7 years. Teaching young children is truly my passion—I love watching them grow, learn, and discover the world around them.

When I’m not in the classroom, I’m usually off exploring the world myself! I recently traveled through Europe, and Spain quickly became my favorite destination—there’s just something magical about the culture, the people, and the food. I always come back from my adventures feeling inspired and excited to share new experiences with my students!

3's Teacher

I’m so happy to be working with our three year olds here at the downtown campus of Safety Harbor Little School!

Empowering kids to grow and learn in an engaging and safe environment is something I’ve always been passionate about. I love connecting with the brilliant young minds, bright souls, and kind hearts at the Little School each day. They are building their futures day by day, and I’m honored to be able to help guide them.

In my free time, I am most often traveling, out in nature, or attending live music events!

Ms. Kaylee

2's Teacher

Hi, I’m Kaylee Boring! I am thrilled to be at SHLS and excited at the opportunity to enrich little one's learning journey!

I started in early childhood education for the past year, and stay inspired by the positive impact I have on the lives of children & their families. I am continuing my education and am passionate about building social & emotional skills through hands on learning. I love seeing their faces light up as they discover new concepts & ideas about the world around them.

I was born and raised here in Florida and outside of my passion for children, I love animals. I spend a lot of my free time caring for my pets at home or walking around the beach!

3's Teacher

Hi, my name is Sam. I’ve lived here for 6 years and love the community. I find it so rewarding to give back by helping kids learn. I have a genuine passion for working with children and enjoy creating a positive, supportive environment where they can grow, explore, and thrive.

When I’m not at work I can be found at home with my dogs or at every event or festival downtown.

Ms. Sarah

Aftercare Teacher

Hi there! I’m Sarah Walker. I was born and raised right here in our quaint little town of Safety Harbor, and I’ve always felt lucky to be part of such a close-knit community. My passion for early childhood education began back in high school when I volunteered in a preschool classroom—and I’ve been hooked ever since!

I love creating a fun, nurturing environment where children can express themselves and grow through hands-on learning. Outside the classroom, you’ll usually find me crafting or traveling to music festivals, where I get inspired by all the creativity and energy around me. I love bringing that same joy and color into our classroom each day!

Mrs. Ebersol

Resident substitute

Debbie Ebersold here! You may see me substituting for your child's teacher or floating through the hallways. Working in early childhood is my passion, I have been working in this field for over 25 years!

I have experience working with kids in a variety of ages and settings, and it fills my heart to use my knowledge to help guide the children and staff at the little school through their journey.

You may see me in my off time out to lunch, catching up with my colleagues from years ago! I also love visiting with my children and grandchildren whom live in Michigan.
